What is The Shed at Halfway Crossing?

The Shed at Halfway Crossing is a unique gathering space offering a rustic and welcoming atmosphere for events, workshops, and special occasions. Whether you're planning a private celebration or simply looking for a place to unwind, The Shed provides the perfect setting nestled in the heart of nature.

How do I book an event at The Shed?

You can easily book an event through our online form or by contacting us directly at 320.260.777. Once we receive your request, our team will get in touch to confirm availability and help with any details you may need.

What amenities does The Shed offer?

  • Decorative ceiling lights in The Shed, the grain bin, and surrounding trees.

  • Electricity and cold water available in the grain bin, plus a refrigerator and freezer.

  • Additional refrigerators and freezers in a nearby shed for extra storage.

  • A firepit with firewood provided for your event.

  • Space for up to 250 guests at round tables, with a riser for the head table (40 feet long by 8 feet wide).

  • Overnight tents or campers are welcome, although dry camping only (no hookups).

Can I choose my own vendors?

Absolutely! You're free to choose your own caterer, food truck, band, DJ, and even vendors for tables, chairs, linens, and portable toilets. You can also bring your own beverages, though alcohol sales are not permitted.

How early can I start decorating?

You can begin decorating as early as Wednesday in the week of your event, giving you plenty of time to set up your ideal vision.

When does the event need to end?

You can choose your own “shut down” time for the event, but most bands and DJs stop playing around 11 p.m. Clean-up needs to be completed by 3 p.m. the day after your event.
